Q1. Nice to meet you. Please introduce yourself for our jente readers.
Hello! I’m Eunmi Heo.
I’m a makeup artist and I use my face as a canvas to explore various styles and share my creations through images and reels.
Q2. Which of your makeup looks has received the most love so far?
I think people really connect with my posts when I provide clear instructions and add a fun twist. People really liked my recent decalcomania makeup, where I used a film sheet to transfer colorful dots around my face.
Q3. What part of your makeup routine do you pay the most attention to?
I'm all about achieving symmetry and crisp lines. These details elevate the overall look and give it a polished finish.
Q4. What makeup products are you reaching for most often these days?
I’ve been loving Chanel’s eyeshadow palette and their lip and cheek in the shade "Healthy Pink." I’ve been using them daily, and it's the first time I've almost hit pan on any makeup products.
Q5. Your makeup style is both fresh, bold, and mysterious. Where do you find inspiration?
When I first started Dingga Cake House, and especially during high school, I used to watch a lot of classic films. I really focused on capturing the unique mood, colors, and small details. I also spent a lot of time exploring Google Maps to look at different architectural styles and colors around the world.
Q6. If you had the opportunity to participate in a brand campaign as a makeup artist, which brand would you like to collaborate with? Or is there a celebrity you'd love to work with?
I'd be thrilled to work with any brand that aligns with my creative vision. I find the process incredibly exciting, regardless of the specific brand. As for models, I'm more interested in working with individuals who have strong, unique personalities. I enjoy bringing out their individuality through makeup.

Q7. As a freelancer who follows a strict daily schedule, could you describe your typical day?
Since January, my daily routine has been pretty consistent. I start my day by dropping off my husband at work around 7:30 AM and enjoying a leisurely morning, reading or browsing on my phone. I have a quick meal and begin my makeup routine. Between taking photos and editing, time flies by and it's usually around 5 PM by the time I'm done. After a productive afternoon spent creating and editing, I wrap up my day by picking up my husband from work.
Q8. Your Instagram feed has inspired a lot of questions about your personal style. Do you have a go-to brand?
While I appreciate the minimalist aesthetic of brands like The Row, I also enjoy the whimsical designs of Bode. To be honest, I'm more interested in the overall look and feel of an outfit. I love pieces that have a unique fit, are made from high-quality materials, and feature unexpected color combinations. I'm not a big fan of overly feminine details like lace or bows.

Q9. What are the key elements you consider when putting together an outfit? Do you also pay attention to the color coordination between your makeup and clothes?
Q10. What's your favorite fashion item?
I love wearing my red beanie from The Row, the JW Anderson shoes my husband bought me, and my Sophie Buhai hoop earrings.
Q11. If your life were a Cyworld profile, what song would play in the background?
I'd pick "Slowness" by Ana Roxanne. If I had to choose one artist to represent my life, it would be Björk.

Q12. If you had to describe Mooa in one sentence?
I'm just a quirky individual who finds immense joy in the simplicity of a room filled with colorful yarn.
Q13. What plans does Mooa have for the future?
I can't say for sure what I'll be doing, but I dream of a life where I can do what I love. It sounds easy, but I think it's actually the hardest thing to achieve.
One of my most cherished memories is from my time at Dingga Cake. I'd often spend nights baking, and as I drove home at dawn, I'd feel an overwhelming sense of joy and fulfillment. Even though I was exhausted, I was filled with passion and a deep sense of accomplishment. I long for those feelings and I'm determined to work hard to experience them again.

Q14. You've taken a leap of faith by starting something from scratch. What advice would you give to those who are considering doing the same?
